INTERNSHIP
An internship report is an organizational study, a
case study or survey of an organization. The students are expected to make a factual observation about the functioning of an organization. The study is
organizational specific done by a student or a student group the students are
expected to study the whole organization or a wing of the organization (if the
organization is of giant size). It is compulsory for the students to take up
assignments or tasks given by the organization during their study period.
PURPOSE: To study organizational activities in all functional
areas and relate this to theoretical knowledge acquired.
OBJECTIVE: To appraise students of the functioning of an
organization.
DURATION: Four to six weeks between the first and second
year of the M.B.A program.
REGULATION:
The students
shall attend to any task or assignment given by the organization.
There will
be local/ organization guide.
The student
shall produce a certificate of internship and append it to the report.
